Izakaya Sozai
This is a Japanese restaurant in the Inner Sunset. Izakaya Sozai's environment is comfortable and cozy, and the noise level isn't too bad. Parking is a bit of a pain in that area, but this place is worth the search. There is also a TV there where they are usually playing sports, so that's a plus.
Word to the wise: the wait can be long! But their service and food make up for any of the waiting you might do. We got there around 6 and was told we'd have over an hour wait, but they took down our number and said they would give us a call when our table was ready. Only 45 minutes later we got a call while grabbing some pearl tea down the street, so we were on our merry way over. This is the best ramen I have had in the city! Yum! Wait was an hour on a rainy Friday night but worth it.
