Pomelo
This tiny little hole-in-the-wall is one of the best kept secrets in San Francisco. Though the menu is limited, each item is well made and delicious. Since this place is small, it's also quaint and very San Franciscan like (similar to any big city urban dining).
Pomelo has an interesting and pretty compelling menu. Definitely a fusion place, it mixes influences from all around the world - but competently, and it avoids the trap of a menu that blends everything in all the dishes so that it all tastes the same.
